Google data and permissions

The tool requests read-only access to YouTube channel data, YouTube Analytics, and Google Search Console. It collects channel and video details, view and subscriber statistics, and available search-performance data for the owner's properties. These permissions support account reporting.

The reporting collectors do not upload videos, post comments, or change channel content using these permissions.

Storage and processing

Reports, collected metrics, browser captures, and OAuth credentials are stored on the operator's computer. Local files remain until the operator deletes them. OAuth credentials allow the tool to renew API access without signing in for each report.

Browser navigation and collection validation can use the configured Typesafe/Jev service. Account identifiers and captured page text, including visible account analytics, may be sent to that service for these tasks. Passwords, verification codes, and OAuth tokens are kept out of navigation-model requests. The API collector does not send its YouTube API metrics to that navigation service.

Control over access and local data

The account owner can revoke the tool's grant through Google Account settings, stop the scheduled report, and delete locally stored credentials, captures, or reports. Revoking access stops future authorized API collection; it does not delete previously saved local reports.

This notice covers the personal reporting utility's account-data collection. Questions can be sent to bettertts.help@gmail.com.
